Aerosmith
... According to Joey Kramer of Aerosmith, the band's name was inspired by a Harry Nilsson album title.
In the book _Walk This Way_, he describes sitting around with his girlfriend one day after school listening to Nilsson 's Aerial Ballet and discussing possible band names that had 'aerial' or 'aero' in them.
He thought of 'Aerosmith' and liked the way it sounded.

Aerial Ballet ...
'Beatle John Lennon, queried on the American pop sound, said his favorite performer currently was Nilsson a Coast singer on the Victor label (Variety, May 1968)' --Text of a label RCA affixed to copies of the Aerial Ballet album.

I'd love to share with you regarding Harry Nilsson, his life and his music.
